What is the Discreet-O-Matic™ fabric?

It’s not just a fancy name. It’s a powerful fabric made from an organic substrate - like wood or coconut shells - that’s been superheated — until it forms millions of microscopic pores. These tiny pores act like a magnet for odors. These pores carry a negative charge that attracts positively charged odor molecules.
Think of it as a sponge, but instead of water, it soaks up smells.
How to Keep It Working Like New
Over time, those pores fill up with odor molecules. But don’t sweat it—your Discreet-O-Matic™ is rechargeable.
Just hit it with a hair dryer for a few minutes.
The heat will off-gas the trapped odor molecules, allowing the Discreet-O-Matic™ fabric to renew it's odor absorbing capabilities again, basically, giving your bag a fresh start. This trick can be repeated multiple times—kinda like if your bag is doing hot yoga to clear out the funk.
But Even Superheroes Retire

Eventually, the Discreet-O-Matic™ fabric won’t be able to fully let go of all those odor compounds. That means it won’t trap smells as well as it once did. When that happens, give it a proper thank-you... and maybe treat yourself to a fresh new bag, but we're talking many years later. Or if you have our Silverton, then you can just order replacement dividers because the dividers are made of the Discreet-O-Matic™ fabric.
