The heat will off-gas the trapped odor molecules, allowing the Discreet-O-Matic™ fabric to renew it's odor absorbing capabilities again, basically, giving your bag a fresh start. This trick can be repeated multiple times—kinda like if your bag is doing hot yoga to clear out the funk.
But Even Superheroes Retire
Eventually, the Discreet-O-Matic™ fabric won’t be able to fully let go of all those odor compounds. That means it won’t trap smells as well as it once did. When that happens, give it a proper thank-you... and maybe treat yourself to a fresh new bag, but we're talking many years later.
